Grand Ceremony Marks Beginning of Academic Year at Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus

Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus was abuzz with anticipation and excitement on Thursday, the 15th of Chaitra, 2080 B.S., as the Free Student Union orchestrated a grand ceremony to mark the beginning of a new academic year and bid farewell to graduating students. The event, held on campus grounds, aimed to extend a warm welcome to fresh faces entering their first year of undergraduate studies, while also celebrating the achievements of fourth-year students embarking on their final journey at the institution. 

With a turnout exceeding 650 attendees, the campus was alive with energy and enthusiasm. The program commenced with an inauguration ceremony graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. Baikuntha Nyapane, the Mayor, who officially opened the proceedings. Gaurav Pantha, the President of the Student Union, took charge of presiding over the event, ensuring its smooth execution.  Throughout the ceremony, attendees were treated to a diverse array of cultural performances, showcasing the talents and creativity of the student body. From traditional dances to modern renditions, over 20 captivating performances captivated the audience and added to the festive ambiance of the occasion.  Distinguished figures from the academic realm, including Rishiram Dhungana, President of the Alumni Association, and Sagar Neupane, Secretary of the Teachers' Association, graced the gathering with their presence. Additionally, heads of various departments and faculty members lent their support to the event, further emphasizing its significance within the academic community. 

The ceremony also provided a platform for heartfelt speeches and expressions of well-wishes. Notable personalities, including department heads such as Bimal Giri from the Department of Humanities, Shree Krishna Neupane, former Campus Chief, and Dr. Ramkumar Adhikari, Assistant Campus Chief, shared their insights and encouragement with the students.  Furthermore, the presence of representatives from political parties, administrative officials, student leaders, and staff members underscored the broad spectrum of support for the academic community. 

In conclusion, the event served as a testament to the unity and vibrancy of the Aadikavi Bhanubhakta Campus community. As students embark on their academic journeys and bid farewell to graduating seniors, the spirit of camaraderie and celebration resonates strongly, setting a promising tone for the academic year ahead.
